Phillip Martin is a full-time Certified Public Accountant and a part-time author of the Adventures of Cassandra Rho series. 

Although numbers come naturally to Phillip and are essential to his work, he has a set of interests that are altogether unique and contradictory to his work world. A practicing gamer most of his life, Phillip developed a knack for writing stories for his friends through role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons. Honing his storytelling skills over a lifetime through his dungeon-mastering, Phillip eventually decided to create the Cassandra Rho series, a dark, epic fantasy.   

Phillip’s true love since he was a child has been the fantasy worlds of mythical heroes and exotic creatures. From the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon he watched every Saturday morning as a child to his favorite movies such as Clash of the Titans and The Lord of the Rings, Phillip’s strong imagination has been percolating for decades! Finally, in 2022, the epic tale of Cassandra Rho was born with the first release: A Witch is Born.   

Phillip lives in a small town in Virginia where he practices accounting during the day and writes feverishly at night. Kind of like a nerdy superhero, he truly lives two distinct lives. He is also a cat dad, a gamer, a collector, and a sports fan, which makes for a busy life. However, among all the adventures he has taken over his lifetime and the countless stories he has written, his greatest accomplishments thus far have been raising his two boys and falling in love with the perfect woman who supports his book-writing obsession.
